When will celebrities learn
Had not Pete Burns, United Kingdom front man of the group Dead or Alive, admitted to having plastic surgery, there would still be no question as to the fact that he has gone under the knife several times to result in extremely interesting results. Pete Burns has also unfortunately seen the ugly side of beauty enhancement surgery in his many botched cosmetic operations. He has even had to go as far as bringing a lawsuit against a doctor for his deplorable work. Pete Burns won the case but his face will forever be damaged. He serves as a guideline for what not to do in terms of plastic surgery.
One of Pete Burns’ worst cosmetic mishaps was the injection of too much lip collagen which thus brought on the lengthy court battle. Because there was too much collagen injected, his lips began to form unsettling granulomas or tumors. These granulomas grew inside of his lips causing them to look bumpy and overinflated. There came a point where the granulomas popped and leaked out of fissures in his lips. Because of his lip ordeal Pete Burns has produced and narrated a documentary following his own unfortunate story along with others who have had plastic surgery nightmares.
In all Pete Burns has had many plastic surgeries transforming his face to the point that he no longer looks the way he did when his group ‘Dead Or Alive’ came out with their hit single ‘You spin me round’. His case shows that a lot of times, having surgery after surgery performed often increases the chances of something going wrong. That is why plastic surgery should be used sparingly. A little goes a long way as it is often the little things that bring on the greatest improvements. With Pete Burns’ new documentary he is getting the word out to attest to the cautious, less-is-more view point.
